had opened up a 10 car length lead, but that got wiped out with a tangle
involving Kevin Lamphere and Heistand. On the restart, Bright was able
to open up a 5 car lenght advantage, and held that for the victory.

Shippensburg, PA - Ask any racer and they will tell you the one thing
that can change a race outcome is traffic, and that was never more evident
than Saturday night as Drew Heistand used that to his advantage to nip
young Alex Bright at the line by several feet to capture his first 600
feature ever at the speedway. Bright who hails from Collegeville, PA.
started on the pole jumped in front on the opening lap and began to
set a torrid pace and by lap 6 had opened up a 15 car length lead. Heistand
who is from Wrightsville, PA. had started fourth and had to battle Jimmy
Dawson for the runnerup spot for a number of laps before taking over
that spot on lap 7. Once in second, Heistand began to reel in Bright
and by lap 12 with the help of lap traffic had caught Bright. A caution
flag on lap 13 would give Bright a clear field in front and it looked
like Heistand would have to settle for second as Bright again opened
up a 8 car length lead. However, by the white flag lap, Heistand had
again caught Bright with lap traffic in front. Coming out of turn four
Bright got caught up in lap traffic and Heistand dove to the outside
to nip Bright at the finish. Dawson would come home third, while Dustin
Foust would take fourth and Patrick Milikowski completed the top five.
Sixth thru tenth were Eddie Rice, Rick Brehm, Dustin Sheffield, Richard
Gilmore, and Bo Gordon. Heats were won by Heistand and Rice.

Press Release - Saturday, May
14th, 2005
Shippensburg, PA - Steve Dull from Mechanicsburg, PA. made his return
to the oval pay off as he sped to victory in the 20 lap main. A shower
delayed the start of the event, but also left the track super fast as
the extra moisture gave the drivers a super quick surface. Dull who
started on the point, jumped in front on the opening lap. Jimmy Dawson
who started third and Eddie Rice was waging a torrid battle for second.
Dawson was finally able to secure second and began to close on Dull
as he got caught up in lapped traffic. A caution on lap 11 allowed the
field to close up, but also gave Dull the clear racetrack he needed.
He was able to maintain a 2 car length advantage until another caution
on lap 18 when Brandon Little and Alex Bright got together in turn two
brought out the second cautionof the event. On the restart, Dull was
able hang on and win by a car length over Dawson. Rice, with another
fine showing came home a strong third. Coming home fourth was Dustin
Sheffield and Kevin Lamphere completed the top five. Sixth thru tenth
was Drew Heistand, Chris Crull, Bo Gordon, Richard Gilmore and Rick
Brehm. Heats were won by Rice and Dustin Foust.

Press Release - Saturday, June
25th, 2005
Shippensburg, PA - Dustin Foust of Orrstown, PA. had waited almost two
years to find his way to victory lane again, and on Saturday night with
a patience and racing luck, he made it. Young and talented Alex Bright
from Collegeville, PA. drew the point position and was off like a rocket.
lapping the field by lap number five. By the halfway point his lead
had grew to almost a quarter lap. Foust, who started third, battled
Zachary Newlin for several laps before taking command on second. Slowly
Foust was able to make up ground, but Bight still had things well in
command. A late race caution came out on lap 17, and that closed up
the field. However, Bight once again surged ahead by several car lengths
on the restart. Coming off turn four for the white flag lap it was clear
that something was going wrong with Bright's machine as Foust closed
immediately and overtook the young driver going into turn one, as did
third place runner Drew Heistand. It was apparent then that Bright had
a tire that had gone down. With first place in hand, Foust was not to
be denied, and beat heistand to the line by three car lengths. Bright
was able to nurse his machine and hold on for third, while Steve Dull
and Bo Gordon completed the top five. Sixth thru tenth were Eddie Rice,
Patrick Milikowski, Jimmy Dawson, Zachary Newlin, and Jim Horwat. The
heats went to Rice and Dustin Sheffield.

Press Release - 7-9-2005
Shippensburg, PA - What a difference a week can make. Last week Chambersburg's
Jimmy Dawson found himself involved in a opening lap melee with him
ending up flipping his 600 sprinter. After righting the car, he was
able to nurse it to a sixth place finish. This Saturday nite was a completely
different senario as the very popular racer came storming back to capture
his first win in 2005. Dawson, who started third moved to the front
imediately. Multi-time feature Drew Heistand who started 11th was busy
working his way thru traffic, and by lap 11 had moved into second and
set sail for the flying Dawson. By lap 16 he had caught Dawson and it
appeared that he was going to overtake the frontrunner, but something
went sour in his mount and he started dropping back. From there, Dawson
was able to drive away and win his first in 2005 by 8 car lengths over
Heistand who hung on for second. Coming home third was Patrick Milikowski,
while J.C. Walling and Steve Dull would complete the top five. Sixth

Foust, and Dustin Sheffield. 600 heats went to Milikowski and Alex Bright.

Press Release - Saturday, July 23rd, 2005
Orrstown, Pa's Dustin Foust had waited a year to capture that first
600 win, but had to wait only a month to capture his second, as he sped
to victory in the 600 division Saturday night. Foust, who started on
the front row had a fairly easy time of it, although a unusual high
number of cautions would wipe out several nice leads he had built. Multi
time feature winner J.C. Walling would grab the runner up spot on the
opening lap and remain there the entire race, but unable to catch the
flying Foust. Third place went to Jimmy Dawson, who had a great drive
to come from his 13th starting spot. The hard charger award for the
night had to go to Eddie Rice who was involved in several early incidents
and both times had to make his way thru traffic for a strong 4th place
finish. Patrick Milikowsi, who started 10th came home 5th to complete
the top five. Sixth thru tenth were Brenden Bright, Dan Kanagy, Gary
Suchy, Dustin Sheffield, and Ryan Bloom. Heats were taken by Suchy and
Rice.
